 Who we are

We are a Microsoft consulting company... bored yet... thought so!

We thought that maybe some of our guys could tell you a bit about who we are.

Richard Paterson, MD Technology and Innovation

From humble beginnings, we have quickly grown into a respected provider of Microsoft solutions. Our consultants are business and technology experts with excellent problem solving skills. They also have a fantastic “bedside manner” if you know what I mean. In short we employ friendly, intelligent people who our clients absolutely love dealing with.

Hywel Thomas, Sales Manager

Over the years I've been involved in many SharePoint projects which do a great technical job but fail to provide an engaging and popular user interface; multi-million pound projects die from low take-up and apathy. Brightstarr are unique in the UK market in that we measure our success in site hits and user involvement, with a creative team who produce fantastic looking and highly intuitive sites which customers love. The guys here are at the forefront of SharePoint development using Flash, Silverlight, AJAX, video streaming and many other new and exciting technologies all designed to transform dull, lifeless SharePoint sites into vibrant and topical places to be. I love the passion shown by everyone here - and the canteen's pretty good too.

Colin Murray, Interface Architect

Our team can really turn around high quality solutions fast, working with Microsoft technology day in day out they really understand it. I’m really proud of the User Experience work we do, its always satisfying to see SharePoint functioning as a full blown website providing the ultimate user experience.

Will Saville, MD Sales and Marketing

There are a couple of things I’m really passionate about when it comes to what we do. The first is helping organisations share information and improve communication. I think that organisations really see the benefit nowadays of ensuring everyone is kept up-to-date and are 'in the know'! It’s also about making sure that people enjoy the experience of an interactive environment and see it as a source of useful information and a fun place to go.

Joe Carlebach, Chairman

When I first met BrighStarr I was impressed by the people and their passion for their business and customers. That is as well as their ability to have fun and really enjoy what they do! It is not often you see these qualities and this was the main reasons why I decided to join the team when they invited me to become Chairman.

Emma Thomas, Project Delivery Manager

At Brightstarr every project gets treated as if it’s our own. We don’t steam-roll through them without care, attention and respect. Whether you are a small one-man office or a global Corporation we strive to establish a good and often lasting relationship from the outset, never forgetting that our clients have helped us to become what we are today. I feel honoured to be a part of such a company and extremely proud of the delivery team.

Tom Billington, Interface Architect

What struck me most about BrightStarr when I started was the passion, not just for technology but passion in everything they do. The thing about passion is that its contagious, or viral you would probably say nowadays! Not just within the team but also out through our clients too - that's what makes us special.
